In 2012, Mike & I had the opportunity to have a duo painting show at Space 1026 in Philly - an artist-run space whose legacy we were both very proud to get to participate in. (1026 has since left its location at 1026 Arch Street for 844 N Broad Street; at time of writing under covid, my main project is making work for a show in the new location scheduled for October 2020.)
For this show, I made a third set of glyphs, two new paintings, and a series of smaller icons. I also re-showed some of the work I had up the previous year in Providence. Mike & I took advantage of the week-long install period to completely cover the space in murals, which was so fun, and I'd love to get to do again.
